Rebeca Baptista, mostly referred to as Becka, studies Journalism at the University of Texas at Austin, currently as a sophomore. She was honored with a place on the Dean's List for the entire 2013-2014 school year. She is a member of a few organizations on campus. She is a Camp Texas Counselor, and she also holds a mentor position in the First-Year Interest Group Program. Becka is currently interning at U.S. Senator John Cornyn's Austin office. Becka's interests include playing tennis, writing, and exploring the city of Austin. She also enjoys serving her community and helping those around her in any way that she can. Becka plans to attend law school after she graduates in the hopes of pursuing a career in Media Law.
